GSM Tours and Field Trips in 2020

The following field trips and tours were conducted by the Geological Society of Minnesota for 2020.

Kate Clover led driving/walking trips to explore Platteville Limestone in the Twin Cities. These occurred on Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, October 3, both at 1 PM. See Kate’s well researched article in the August 2020 GSM Newsletter for background information. We met in Mendota at St. Peter’s Church, off Hwy 13 between Hwy 35E and 35W.  The field trips followed pandemic safety precautions. Both of these trips reached participation capacity.
