MEMBER REVIEW: This set of DVDs is well worth viewing. It is much better than I had anticipated. It was done in 2007, so some things are dated, and there is newer stuff that is missing, but for the basics and general information it is solid, entertaining, and has very good graphics. They go through the basics, Earth and how it formed, the other planets by class, the Oort cloud and comets, asteroids etc. etc. It is a solid grounding in the basics of our solar system and the universe. They do go into the physics and chemistry aspects, but without the equations and heavy math. You get to understand the why without the mathematical how. Sometimes they get a bit silly or simplistic, but overall it is a good effort and something worth watching more than once. You can watch one at a time, or binge; either way you get a lot out of them.
